Drawn from Hoffmann family vineyards in the northern Barossa, this wine channels generations of farming know-how into one seriously expressive bottle. In the glass, it sits at the midnight end of the spectrum: dark chocolate, freshly tanned leather, black peppercorns, cocoa and warm earth roll out first, with raspberries, blood plum and macerated cherry underneath. That trademark “kicked-earth” character lends weight and gravitas, pulling the fruit down into deeper, more serious territory.

The palate is enveloping and intense – layered, undulating black and red fruits wrapped in dense yet fine tannins. There’s a savoury, mineral edge and enough spice to keep things moving, finishing long, dry and beautifully structured.
